Title: InverterCentral.com - InverterCentral are misleading and false advertising Comment 1: - Mar 20th, 2008 InverterCentral.com falsely advertises the following when your laptop screen stops working: Replacing the backlight inverter fixes the following symptoms 17 out of 20 Times: Dim Screen,Flickering Display, Wavy Lines,Blinking LCD Panel, Panel Buzzing,Shades of Pink, The problem I experienced where some of the above,but when I put in the new part it didn't fix my problem. If you look at the fine print buried on their website which they've cleverly hinden this is return policy: THERE IS NO REFUND FOR "deciding the part is no longer needed for any reason" Which means if it doesn't work, which is my case, you are screwed. My advice, buy a new monitor and if it includes the inverter, so much the better. In my case, the replacement screen with inverter included fixed my problem.
